Freedom from Sexual Abuse

The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry wrote that Child sexual abuse is reported up to 80,000 times a year, but the number of unreported instances is far greater, because the children are afraid to tell anyone what has happened.
This was one of the most difficult chapters GOD had me write in the book Through Fire and Water.

I believe HE had me write this chapter because just like all the other children who were afraid to tell anyone what happened to them, I too, at the age of seven kept a painful, deep, dirty dark secret for many years.

Dr. Neil T. Anderson’s wrote in his book Victory Over The Darkness how beliefs and attitudes are formed from traumatic experiences in our lives. Unlike prevailing experiences that are assimilated into our minds over time, these traumatic experiences are burned into our mind’s because of the intensity; and they will leave lasting impressions.
